Why choose a VIP day?
I designed the VIP day to take all the overwhelm and stress out of seeking therapeutic support. The VIP days is a day where YOU and YOUR family are the most important people. Your goals, your hopes and aspirations are all taken into consideration.
Completing it online gives you the added benefit of less overwhelm, less anxiety and a more natural understanding of your child within the home. There are no transitions and no worries about your child's behaviour. This is a non-judgement zone and it is best the see your child as they are feeling that day whether they are feeling calm or overwhelmed.
Who is the VIP Day for?
Anyone.....Yes really!!
If you are a parent who:
- Wants to understand your child's world better than ever.
- Are in crisis and require support as soon as possible.
- Have a child who expereinces significant difficulties in daily life.
- Has a child who has extreme challenges within school.
- Requires support for an EHCP application.
- Who has been unsuccessful with services but know there is something underlying influencing your child's life.
This is a unique, cost effective opportunity provided to you within the UK.
How does it work?
Your VIP experience is arranged on a convenient day.
Your day will have the following format:
- Complete relevant paperwork to provide background information prior to the day.
- The therapist will meet, chat and do games your child ,Interaction is welcome but is optional, if your child doesn't want/has difficulty interacting, then that is ok!
- Clinical discussion between Kate and parents/carers.
- Kate will complete clinical analysis of assessment and write a comprehensive report with recommendations.
- Kate will then develop your bespoke treatment programmes,
- To finish your day you will have an in-depth discussion regarding your child's report and treatment programme. This is your opportunity to fully understand your child's sensory world and how it impacts on their everyday life.
Your a VIP for the day, that means you will leave feeling knowledgeable and empowered with the resources and tools which will enhance your child's and your families life.
